My Review

A Social Affair by Pat Tucker and Earl Sewell is a story that could have been ripped from today’s current headlines. Codi is bored and frustrated with married life so she turns to her best friend Katina for help. Katina introduces Codi to a brand new world courtesy of the internet and social networking sites. Across the country, Quinn is also unhappy in his marriage and he meets Codi on the net. The two decide to meet based on their online identities and a love affair begins.

A Social Affair explores what can happen when your online persona does not match with your real world persona and it should be received as a cautionary tale. A Social Affair has all of the ingredients for an entertaining read: drama, deception, exceptional writing and plenty of sex. A Social Affair by Pat Tucker and Earl Sewell should serve as a reminder that it is very possible that the person you meet online is who they want you to know and not actually who they are. Be careful!
